McMillan's Bakery: Discover Haddon Township's Beloved Bakehouse

So good! The donuts are to die for. I love the Bismarck donut. Of course they do tons of other cookies and cakes for all kinds of occasions. Staff is friendly and helpful.

This place is a landmark in the area. They have been around since 1939 and are a fourth generation family owned business. The apple cider glazed donut is the best one in my opinion though they are known for their cream filled. We tried 6 different kinds and all of them were good.

Superb & delightfully decadent donuts. Fresh and delicious with a variety of traditional flavors like chocolate iced, jelly, cream filled, Bavarian cream, sugar crullers, and more. I would highly recommend McMillian’s if you love donuts and want to try one of the best on the east coast. The thing that I love about these donuts is, while they are truly sinful, they are not over-the-top sweet as some donuts can be. We did not try the other offerings but there are plenty to choose from: cookies, cupcakes, cakes, and specialty items like whoopie pies. There is always a line on weekends (and some weekdays too) and you will need to take a number. They kindly follow the baker’s dozen rule of 13 for the price of 12, which is nice because it is a rather old fashioned tradition that most bakeries do not offer anymore.

Walked in not knowing just how wonderful it would be! My son (3yrs old) saw the pumpkin sugar cookies and got super excited to see them! The shop was so nice and gave him the cookie! We purchased some bread, and this incredible onion roll. I’m autistic and have many food limitations and I was excited to find something so tasty that satisfied my food texture preferences. 10/10 would recommend. Also go Phillies! Red October!

Great cream donuts, friendly staff. I stopped in again yesterday. Once again, their cream donuts were amazing! I also tried the Apple cider donuts, which were very good, and the pumpkin iced donut, which was excellent and had great flavors to it. As always, the woman who assisted me was extremely friendly, professional and efficient. Great bakery and people!

Might just be the best donuts in South Jersey. The cream filled donuts are not overly sweet but are overflowing with cream filling. They're worth waiting in line or driving out of your way for. The apple cider donuts are pretty good too.

The hype is real regarding their cream donuts! I really didn’t think I would like this, but it’s messy and delicious equally! My husband devoured his in about 10 seconds. Their soda bread is also excellent! Friendly behind the counter. Happy st paddy’s!

My family's been customers for 70+years across 4 generations. We served their cream donuts after my grandmother's funeral (her favorite), and ordered more cakes and Christmas treats than can ever be calculated. This place is an institution and will be terribly missed.
